Powerful Peppermint Oil
Peppermint is so Simple; yet so Powerful

Cooling: Peppermint oil contains a high level of menthol which can make skin feel much cooler.

You can make a mist with 8 drops of peppermint oil per ounce of water in a mister bottle. Shake and mist as needed.

You can apply one drop of Peppermint oil after a shower. Rub one drop over your hands and then over your entire wet body for a very refreshing after-shower feel.

You can add 2 or 3 drops of Peppermint Oil to a cool bath.

You can mix 8 drops of Peppermint Oil into an ounce of Castile Soap to make a cooling soap.

Stimulating: The scent of Peppermint help keep us awake and alert.

Just sniff from a bottle. Or put a few drops on a cotton ball and sniff. You can also use the mister method above(under cooling).

Relieving: The cooling sensation of peppermint oil can help ease muscle pain and stimulate circulation in muscles.

Add 8 drops of Peppermint oil to an ounce of unscented fixed oil (Like Jojoba, Sweet Almond, or Grapeseed Oil) for a liniment like massage oil.

Clearing: Ease stuffed Sinuses, Headaches, and Congestion with Peppermint Oil. The scent of peppermint can also ease nausea.

Just sniff from a bottle. Or put a few drops on a cotton ball and sniff. You can also use the mister method above (under cooling).

Cleansing: Peppermint can kills germs, deodorize and repel pests.

Add Peppermint Oil to your laundry or dishwasher (about 100 drops per load). Make cleaning soaps to kill germs, deodorize and repel pest (Use about 100 drops per 4 ounces of castile soap). Wear gloves when cleaning to protect your hands.

Protecting: Protect yourself from pests.

Peppermint repels: mosquitoes, ants, moths, flies, head lice, spider mites, ticks, fleas, mice and chipmunks. This works! Last week I dropped some rice and didn't find it all. I saw a mouse run under my stove, so I laid a dish towel on the floor near the bottom of the stove and doused it with about 100 drops of peppermint oil. I have not seen another mouse or any droppings since.

Exciting: The scent of Peppermint acts as an aphrodisiac. We can also get some physical stimulation from the menthol in Peppermint.

It will make you tingle when you use it in soaps, massage oils, and other body treatments. It will make you tingle everywhere including your sexual spots. But be careful not to use too much or all that stimulation can hurt.

Saving: By making it yourself with Peppermint oil you can save money and the environment.

You can normally get an ounce of Peppermint oil (about 1200 drops) for $12. If you email and mention FreeMassMedia, your ounce of Peppermint Essential Oil will  only be $10.

Using all natural bio-degradable materials and reusing bottles helps you keep your carbon footprint low.

If you use too much Peppermint oil on any area of your body wash with cool water and unscented soap. You can also put on an unscented moisturizer for extra soothing. If you develop a rash on your skin, hydrocortisone cream heals it quickly.
